Set the sweep range
Choose start and end frequencies from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Reverse the values to create a descending sweep.
Create a linear or logarithmic sweep between any two audible frequencies. Test speakers, locate resonances, visualize the sweep, and export it as WAV.
Start low. Pure tones and noise can be uncomfortable or damage hearing and equipment at high volume.

Linear sweeps cover equal numbers of hertz per second. Logarithmic sweeps spend more time in lower octaves and are often easier for audio testing.
