Your selected audio is analyzed locally in your browser. This policy explains account data, payments, analytics, cookies, and advertising services used by Online Spectrum Analyzer.

Audio files and microphone input

Audio files you select are decoded and analyzed on your device. Microphone input is processed as a live, temporary signal. The analyzer does not intentionally upload, store, or retain this audio on its servers. Closing the page removes the active browser session data.

Accounts and sign-in

When you create or use an account, we store your email address, optional display name and profile image, email-verification status, account timestamps, and security records needed to operate sign-in. Email passwords are stored only as one-way salted password hashes, not as readable passwords. Verification and password-reset tokens are stored as hashes, expire after a short period, and can be used only once. Browser sessions use a secure cookie whose token is hashed in our database.

If you save Pro analysis presets, the selected FFT, channel, frequency range, scale, view, assessment target, and display settings are stored with your account so they can be restored on another device. Saved presets contain configuration values and names you provide, not audio or measurement results.

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides a verified email address, Google account identifier, and may provide your name and profile image. We use this information only to create or link your account and authenticate you. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Account email

We may use an email delivery provider to send requested verification and password-reset messages. The provider receives the destination email address and message contents only as needed to deliver those transactional messages. We do not use account email addresses for marketing without separate consent.

Pro accounts and payments

When you purchase Pro, we store the email associated with the purchase, Stripe customer, Checkout Session, Payment Intent, and subscription identifiers, subscription or lifetime entitlement status, billing-period dates, and account-session information. This information is used to activate and restore Pro, prevent unauthorized access, provide billing management, and respond to refunds or subscription changes. Stripe processes payment details; this website does not receive or store complete card numbers.

Google Analytics and technical information

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website, diagnose performance problems, and improve the product. Google Analytics may process information such as requested pages, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device details, referrer, timestamps, and interactions with the website. It may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement. This analytics data does not include the contents of audio files or microphone input analyzed by the tool. Advertising and cookies

If Google AdSense advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this website and other sites on the Internet. Visitors can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Where other advertising vendors or networks are used, their own websites may provide additional opt-out controls.

Consent and cookie choices

You can restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some website features may work differently as a result. Where required by applicable law, advertising cookies and personalized advertising will be managed through an appropriate consent mechanism. Visitors can use the choices presented by that mechanism to accept, reject, or manage eligible uses of their data.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell audio files, microphone recordings, or account data. Limited account and technical data may be processed by hosting, security, email-delivery, payment, analytics, or advertising providers only as needed to operate and improve the site, comply with law, or prevent abuse. Account and transaction records are retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. Expired authentication tokens and sessions may be removed as part of routine maintenance.

Children and changes

This service is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. Material revisions will be reflected on this page.
